Production Evidence to Review
Printing & Colour Approval
Ask which reference the operator is checking and whether it includes the actual paper and final coating. Compare a flat proof with the wrapped result where folds or texture change its appearance. Record the approved colour reference and agreed tolerance rather than relying on a screen viewed during the tour.
Rigid Box Forming
Look at the inside as well as the closed exterior: corner joins, wrap turn-ins, exposed glue and lid alignment. Open and close a loaded example of the proposed structure. A neat empty box does not demonstrate that the lid clears your product or the insert supports its weight.
Final Inspection
Set the inspection plan before production. Agree how glue marks, scratches, colour, alignment, product fit, opening function and export packing will be checked and recorded.

Dieline & Prototyping
Trace the proposed internal space from the product dimensions to the dieline and physical sample. Ask where removal clearance, insert cavities and artwork-safe areas are defined. A revision should be identifiable so the factory review and later sample approval refer to the same construction.

Material Preparation
List the board, wrap, insert, adhesive and finish separately in the specification. If FSC sourcing is required, review the certificate scope and order claim before releasing artwork.

Printing & Finishing
Check print colour, foil, embossing, spot UV and lamination on the selected material. Record the approved reference and acceptance points for registration, rubbing and colour.

Assembly & Final QC
Ask how a first-piece reference is passed to assembly and how a defect is isolated or recorded. Review checks appropriate to your order, including closure, insert fit and export packing. Confirm the inspection plan before production; a tour alone is not an inspection of a future lot.
