What Our Minimums Actually Are
LuxoPacks custom production starts at 500 pieces per design and size. This applies to magnetic, two-piece, drawer, jewelry, specialty-shape, velvet, tube, apparel, mailer, paper-bag and food-carton formats. Custom dimensions, artwork, inserts and finishes are specified in the quotation. Different designs or sizes cannot be combined to meet one 500-piece minimum.
Make an item list before discussing a combined programme: structure, finished size, artwork, insert and quantity for each version. Identify which details are shared and ask how the selected differences affect production. Confirm tooling ownership, storage and reuse charges separately; a reorder still follows the current production minimum.

Use the format table to identify the construction, then confirm the full specification for the quantity you need. A different size or design remains a separate order line. Where only an insert or message varies, describe it explicitly and ask for the production and packing arrangement rather than assuming it shares the same setup.

The Economics
Why MOQs Exist at All
Tooling amortization
Cutting dies and foil plates create setup costs for the design. In a hypothetical 100-box comparison, each box carries a larger share of those fixed costs than at 500 or 1,000 boxes. That comparison explains the economics; it is not an available 100-piece production order.
Material minimums
A selected paper, coating or insert can introduce a purchase commitment beyond the material consumed in the finished boxes. Ask whether a specialist stock changes the quote, lead time or residual-material arrangement. Compare an available alternative on the same sample brief before accepting a material simply because its swatch looks distinctive.
Changeover cost
A run requires preparation even when the finished quantity is modest: artwork setup, process adjustment and a checked starting reference. Ask which work repeats for each variant and which can be shared. Reducing the number of genuinely different specifications can be a more useful planning step than increasing a total that is split into many small runs.
QC sampling
Inspection has to address the risks of the construction, not just the production count. Agree the reference sample, defect categories and any functional or destructive checks for the lot. A smaller order does not remove the need to check loaded fit, closure and export packing.

500 pcs per design and size is LuxoPacks' current production minimum. It provides a starting quantity for planning the materials, setup and assembly of a custom run. The suitable printing process and tooling are selected for the actual specification.
Can I split one MOQ across colors or designs?
No. The 500-piece minimum applies to each design and size, rather than the combined order. List every colourway and artwork separately so the quotation identifies the quantity and setup for each version. Reusing one dieline does not combine different designs into one minimum.
