What You Can Specify
Choose between a slipcase, lift-off box and hinged box by how the book will be removed. A slipcase needs accessible spine or fore-edge clearance; a deep tray needs a ribbon lift or finger space. Added pens and bookmarks should have separate positions so they do not mark the cover. If the page count is still changing, delay the final depth approval rather than allowing an unspecified gap.
Insert and remove the finished book repeatedly, with its jacket and any protective wrap. Check corner rubbing, ribbon placement and whether the spine is supported when lifted. Approve the complete book-and-accessory set, not an empty tray.

How do you size a box to my book?
From the trim size and thickness of the finished book, or a printed copy. We leave a small clearance so the book slides in without rubbing, and add a ribbon lift so it is easy to take out.
Can the box hold the book plus other items?
Yes. A tray with several cavities holds the book next to items such as a pen, bookmark, candle or card; we check the layout on a 3D mock-up first.
Do you print the book?
No. We make the gift box and tray; the book or journal comes from your printer.
What is the minimum order?
500 pcs per design and size. A physical sample takes 3–5 days and bulk production typically 15–25 days after sample approval.
