The Box That Replaces the Gift Bag
Place the handle relative to the packed centre of gravity, not the empty lid. A bottle, long accessory or floral set can load one end more heavily than the other. The handle attachment, lid retention and base support must therefore be considered together. Metallic interiors and dividers also reduce usable space, so confirm the complete product length before approving the external format.
Lift and set down the loaded sample using the actual handle. Check tilt, lid movement, base flex and the edges around the attachment. Review how the elongated pack is supported inside its outer carton so the handle is not crushed in transit.
Metallic silver or gold interiors can be discussed for presentation. Handle anchoring must be specified independently: compare the proposed attachment, reinforcement and lid retention with the complete load rather than assuming one fixing method has a universal capacity.
