Specify Grease, Moisture and Handling Requirements
Use the actual filled food tray as the starting point. Allow for toppings, lids and any liner before placing a window or carry handle. Venting, grease barriers and visibility create trade-offs: a large window can reduce stiffness, and a tightly enclosed warm product can collect condensation. Different delivery times also change the decision. Define whether the pack serves a counter handover, local courier or longer distribution route before selecting the board and closure.
Pack the actual food at the intended temperature and inspect it through the agreed holding period. Review smearing, grease marks, softened bases, window condensation and carrying balance. Check the documentation for the selected contact layer rather than relying on the outer box's appearance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will grease show through the print?
Grease resistance depends on the food, temperature, contact layer and holding period. State those conditions and assess the actual filled pack; no universal thirty-minute rating is assumed.
Do windows fog over warm pastry?
Condensation depends on the food temperature, moisture and closure. Discuss window-film options, then fill the pack with the actual pastry and inspect it over the intended holding period. A film described as anti-fog does not settle the complete pack's visibility or food-contact suitability.
How much weight can gable handles hold?
Provide the actual cake, board and packed weight. An 8-inch cake weighing 2 kg is an example, not a general handle rating; approve the complete loaded construction under agreed carrying conditions.
Are compostable options available?
PE-free barrier board or film does not by itself establish compostability. Verify the complete pack against the intended composting conditions and check whether the relevant collection and processing facility accepts it.
What is the MOQ?
500 pcs per design and size; list the quantity of each separate format.
